Om amriteshwaryai namah!
(Salutations to the Immortal Goddess!)
Mata Amritananda Mayi Devi, my blessed Amma,
is a realized spiritual Master, & satguru to many who seek to learn real love in this lifetime. There are many who regard Her as the embodiment of the Divine Mother,
though Amma Herself never makes this claim. Perhaps She is an avatar of Tara, or another bodhisattva, or of Vishnu ……….. doesn’t really matter. Amma took birth, & is here on this planet, at this time, to teach those who will hear. When asked what her religion is, Amma answers, “My religion is love.”
Jai Ma!
I don’t usually see Amma’s pictures on blogs….this was a refreshing surprise. I’m an Indian…and Amma is no stranger to me. My niece is now studying in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & Research in Kochi, Kerala.
Why don’t you become a mentor for http://www.classicinsights.com?
I lovelovelove the concept of “knowledge being more verb than noun” — it is, because it is a quest, an inner movement, that is on-going. Thanks for introducing me to Classic Insights:) Please tell me more about mentoring ……… I’m intrigued.
Spirit is the mother of life of the universe of all things from the future into the past “now.”
Spiritus vita est mater omnium rerum ex futuro in praeteritum “adhuc”.
Amma is Jewish?
Well, when people ask Amma what Her religion is she replies: “Love.” So, yes ……. & no, haha. (She grew up in Hindu traditions in south India.)
Amma is mother love, she is the spiritual mother to us all. What a blessing to witness.
