I’ve been given a new award!! Many thanks to Dimitie Kendall for The Sunshine Award — her blog is full of uplifting posts, which bring a ray of sunshine to my day.
I was, I admit, feeling unappreciated the last few days – silly silly me. I am so grateful for this award because it is vibrant & beautiful — that hot orange against that vivid blue! And because

To be affirmed as being any sort of inspiration to others is both a gift & a reminder of how I Want To Live: with the consciousness of how I affect others with every choice I make. It affirms my intention of mindfully moving through the world, careful of my ‘footprint’ & aware of my tacit & ineffable interconnection with all others.

Favorite Color – magenta!
Favorite Animal – This varies, but in general it is ‘birds’, with albatrosses, owls & robins being my top 3
Favorite Number – 7, because it is the most Z-like, which is my favorite letter
Favorite Drink – spicy V-8!
Facebook or Twitter – Both, though I’ve noticed that the more time I spend in the blogosphere, the less time I spend on Facebook
Your Passion – Making others see the humor in a situation
Giving or getting presents – Giving, because of all the thinking & imagining that goes into it
Favorite Day – Whenever I can exchange a smile or a laugh with someone
Favorite Flowers – I’m veryvery fickle here –> almost always it is whichever flower I’m looking at! But, when I’m just thinking about it, my fave is a tulip
