The Vow of Mindfulness
If you are willing to be mindful, you have to commit yourself. In some sense, you have to take a kind of vow that you are willing to be mindful & aware. It is saying to yourself, “This is my work for today & for the rest of my life. I’m willing to be aware. I’m willing to be mindful”. When you have such a strong & real conviction to begin with there are no further problems, in some sense.
Paying attention in this way is THE best process for finding the solutions that are needed in all facets of life. And for creating our road back to the love, the joy, the “being” that so many of us lose along the way……………..
